Will Blog For Bread?
While the 'sphere is all a flutter over the Armstrong Williams payoff, Daily Kos getting paid to pimp Dean, and questions about when and what to disclose when bloggers are getting scrip to scribble, there seems to be an obvious case of payola right here in the Northland that has so far escaped notice. I hate to rat out a mate, but it should be clear to anyone who's been following the bread crumbs, that Captain Ed is a shameless shill for Big Bread.
In order for Ed to restore his credibility on matters of fresh baked goods, there must be full and complete disclosure. How long has he been in Panera's pita pocket? How many Sierra Turkey sandwiches did it take to buy his integrity? How come he never brings Bear Claws to the studio on Saturday afternoons? Inquiring (and hungry) minds want to know.
