Hinderaker-Ward Experience,Vol. 3

We taped the latest episode of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience yesterday for Ricochet.com, and it's now available for your listening pleasure.

It was a fun show, bringing back Clark Griffith, one of our favorite guests from the NARN days. He recalls his days as a former executive with the Minnesota Twins, details his family's long history with MLB (going back to the 19th century), and gets into some of the benchmark legal issues related to the game for which he was an instrumental player. Later, Loon of the Week and This Week in Gatekeeping.

There are several ways to catch the show, including the embedded player on the right hand side of this blog. Also, you can ensure you never miss an episode by subscribing via iTunes. And we're also now available on your mobile device with a stream at Sticher.

BTW, a special thanks to Derek Brigham, for the excellent new logo featured at the top of this post. Anyone looking for some graphic design work should check Derek out at www.dbrigham.com.

That's not to say he's not without his critics. This popped up from our old pal Dale in the Richoet comment string:

About that logo... Heart Worm Extraction?

Er, no. It should be obvious to all that the orb behind symbolizes the roiling, atomic excitement that is featured in each and every episode of HWX. That's not to say we're not without our critics. Also from the comment string:

I have tried with each Hinderaker-Ward podcast to listen through, but cannot. Consider this a critical comment, intended to provide member feedback, and not intended to insult or get personal with the gentlemen.

Tough room over there are Ricochet. But thanks for the constructive feedback buddy.

His approach reminds me of the classic Dumb and Dumber scene, where Lloyd provides the following kind assessment of his friend Harry:

You are one pathetic loser. No offense.

None taken!
