HWX, with John Ondrasik

The Hinderaker-Ward Experience is back after a rare and well-deserved break. John Hinderaker and I taped it Saturday morning and it's good stuff.

We muse about the Occupy Wall Street movement, including the Hanover, NH version which John was watching from his hotel room window. We also get into the latest in GOP Presidential race politics, including the rise of Newt, the fall of Cain, and John's steadfast belief in the power of Romney.

Later, we were lucky enough to be joined by the great John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting fame. He's been all over the news of late, and we catch up on his activities, including his performance Friday night at the Carrier Classic basketball game on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson and the ABC-TV program, "Someone Like Me", which he's producing and writing music for. John also made news with his column for Sports Illustrated addressing the Penn State scandal, where he made waves calling for the "death penalty" for their football program. I was dubious as to the need for such a drastic step going into this interview, but after hearing John's heartfelt, persuasive argument, I think I agree with him.

Many ways to hear the podcast, including over on the mothership at Ricochet. You can also be sure to never miss an episode, by subscribing via iTunes or Feedburner. Or just use the player embedded in the upper right hand corner of the Fraters Libertas main page. If all of these fail, send me an email and I'll come to your house and read from the written transcript. Enjoy.
