This is why it is impossible to take these people seriously. Their crack-pot conspiracy theories rarely bear any resemblance to reality. Do they seriously think that a country with a thriving abortion industry, a pornified pop culture, and where even speaking ill of homosexuality is considered déclassé is in danger of becoming a theocracy? Are they really that stupid or is the hyperventilating hyperbole just for effect? And if it's just an act, who do they intend to convince?
