Just a couple of days until the officially sanctioned Minnesota Organization of Bloggers gathering at Keegan's Irish Pub in Minneapolis. University Avenue hasn't seen a mob scene like this since the Gophers won their second consectutive national hockey championship back in aught three. We expect the MOB attendees to be a little better behaved, but if our own Saint Paul happens to get clipped for another parking ticket, full blown rioting is a distinct possibility.
The fun starts at 6pm on Saturday and lasts until Learned Foot starts talking about res judicata, at which point everyone knows it's time to head home. Better take advantage of this opportunity while you can because rumor has it that the Minneapolis City Council is considering an ordinance to ban fun and frivolty of any sort within the city limits.
