Don't Believe The Hype

Jonathan provides Starbucks side of the Ethiopian trademark issue, which has been raised by groups like Oxfam. His post includes a link to a YouTube video with a Starbucks rep explaining the company's position. Given the way that rumors about corporate misconduct spread virally through the Internet these days, I expect to see more and more firms turning to such non-traditional public relations tools.
