This story about the San Jose woman who found a human hand nugget in her Wendy's chili is about two weeks old, but it's in the news again as investigators are still trying to finger the source. Today's AP story about the ordeal contains this rather curious line:
All the employees at the San Jose store were found to have all their fingers...Well, that's a relief. Although, I have to think that if an employee was responsible someone would have remembered cleaning up the trail of blood leading from the kitchen chili station to the first aid closet. Unless, of course, employee bloodletting in the kitchen is standard practice at the San Jose Wendy's.
