The Welcome to Geeksville. Population:You post from last Friday generated a couple of interesting e-mails.
First James from Folsom, CA guided me to a piece at NRO by Michael Medved explaining how some of the recent actions of comic hero Captain America seem downright un-American. He also reminded me of another fine DC Comic from the past 'GI Combat:The Haunted Tank' which chronicled the adventures of a tank crew in World War II who were watched over by the spirit of Jeb Stuart. Finally and most importantly he confessed to having owned three, count 'em, three Members Only jackets in the 80's. Apparently it wasn't just a jacket to James, it was a cult.
Next I must apologize to Scott from Oklahoma City and the all the other lonely, sexually deprived, thirty something men out there surfing the net in their underwear at 2:20am in the morning (recent market surveys indicate this segment compromises approximately 93% of our readership) who found the link promising Linda Carter's breasts broken last Friday.
