Embedded to the Corps
Last night while watching Bob Arnot on MSNBC report live from the Marine unit he was with I couldn't help but chuckle. As Arnot described the meticulous fashion in which the Marines were going door to door to search out Baath Party members he commented, "These Marines are being very careful to take their time to work with the local Iraqis and gain their assistance in securing the town. They're not like the Army crashing in with artillery and heavy air support."
This guy has been with the Marines for a little over two weeks and he's already dissing the Army like a veteran jarhead. Semper fi Bob.
