Two fairly common medical procedures. But what happens when those who wish to be trans-gendered don't have medical insurance?
Many who can't afford professional medical treatment desperately will let someone inject them with a deadly substance. In recent cases across the country, substances such as brake fluid and other chemicals have been injected into the bodies of transgender individuals.
Wouldn't that just stop the process (brake fluid?) Hah, I keed I keed.
I imagine this has probably happened once or twice and now we have an article stating it's a real problem and we need more money to pay for people to get their goods chopped off or surgically implanted.
This reeks of the old "Back alley abortion" cannard of the 70's where it was imagined that every street corner had a crooked nose old man with a pair of pliers and a coat hanger who would take care of any problem for 50 bucks.
There was a time when it was just naturally understood that a man who wanted to be a woman was just plain nuts. Ain't it grand that we have these modern notions now that will someday have to be explained to our youngins?
