All My Rowdy Friends Are Going To Keegan's Thursday Night

Tomorrow night will feature a very special trivia event at Keegan's Irish Pub. No, manager and quiz MC Marty Newton and will not be tearfully recounting his days as a page in the North Dakota legislature (thanks for the repressed memories). Instead Mark Yost will be on hand to tout his new book, Tailgating, Sacks, and Salary Caps: How the NFL Became the Most Successful Sports League in History.

You can pick up a copy of said book at a discounted price or better yet win an autographed copy if your team is up for Mark's football trivia challenge. Since Mark is writing the questions and conducting the quiz, there's a fighting chance that the questions will be lucid and annunciated properly, which will make for a nice change of pace. The fun starts at 8pm and ends when the crew at Keegan's gets tired of hearing stories about how great Brooklyn is (I'd say about 10:45pm).

If you miss Mr. Yost on Thursday night, you can catch him this Saturday on The Northern Alliance Radio Network Volume One at noon, when he'll join us to talk the business of football. I'm issuing a warning right now that any and all callers who breathe a word of fantasy football will be unceremoniously dumped (intentionally, not like our usual weekly three to four accidentally dumpings).
