Simply unbelievable. Let's raise a glass to the Kansas City Royals, whose improbable road sweep of the Tigers allowed the Twins to take the division crown on the last day of the season. They played the ultimate spoiler roll and deserve credit for battling right up until the very end.
The only downside of the Twins hosting the A's instead of traveling to New York is that they'll be playing at noon on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
(cough, cough)
Um...Sorry, but I think I feel something coming on. I have a hunch there might be a lot of that going around here this week.
