Highly Debatable
As the kids these days are fond of saying, "It's on." It being the February 10th debate between Hugh Hewitt and The New Republic's Peter Beinart at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis. The white-haired shock jock and the easily excitable screechy scribe will discuss the future of the Democratic Party. The event is being sponsored by AM 1280 - The Patriot, whose web site features a photo of Beinart from his days as a 'gator wrassler in the Okefenokee Swamp. Seriously, is that the best pic of Peter that they could find? How about this one from our 2003 Separated At Birth series (where we found a remarkable resemblance between him and Asok, the intern from Dilbert)?
Anyway, get your tickets now, 'cause you know that this high stakes verbal showdown is going to sell out fast (especially those $150 VIP ducs). You can also pick up an autographed copy of Hugh's new book Bloge (at least that's how it's spelled on the event web site-just for fun, see how many errors you can find on the page) for a mere $22.95. That's a bargain any way you look at it.
