Just Give Baby-Today's The Day!

Cap'n Ed is organizing a relief effort to help the victims of the Tsunami. He's calling it World Relief Day and asking people to donate their take home pay from January 12th to World Vision's relief efforts. You can make a donation here. Even if you can't donate your one day take home pay in one lump sum, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Ed has set a goal of raising $5000 $25,000 by January 12th, a number that I think we can blow past. Give early, give often. Give now.

UPDATE: We're off to a great start.

UPDATE II: Almost at the goal after only two days.

UPDATE III: A new day and a whole new goal (5x the old one). What is amazing is not just the amount that has been raised ($10,597), but the fact that it only took ninety-seven donations to reach that number. That's an average donation of close to $114. Even with a couple of large gifts skewing that average a bit, it's still quite impressive.

UPDATE IV: $16K and rising. Feed the kitty.
