Epilogue to the Franken interview with Chris Matthews, linked to in the post below. Al also had this to say about a certain locale in Iraq in which he did his act:

Readers of Tim Blair's site will now commence laughing, as the plucky Aussie pundit has made a career of pointing out that the turkey in question was 100% real (although used for ornamentation purposes), yet the worldwide media has ceaselessly propagated this lie about a plastic turkey for over a year. (The myth is such an institutionalized belief, Tim has now declared Nov. 26 to be Fake Turkey Day.)
For balance, I contrast Franken's spreading of the turkey disinformation with his comment on the difference between his Air America radio show and that of Rush Limbaugh:
FRANKEN: I also do something that is even more important in the way I'm different. He lies. He lies.
