Ditto Bono

EJ writes to second Bono's remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast (linked to in yesterday's post):

Thanks for posting Bono's remarks at the Prayer Breakfast. I would not otherwise have seen it.

Normally, I'd just lump Bono in with the rest of the celebrity do-gooder set, but he's out there pounding the table for what ALOT of us white, male, conservative Christians have been trying to get the U.S. to do for most of our lives, especially us Army brats. We've seen it. We've been there. Maybe not Africa, but you don't have to go to Zimbabwe to know what it means when hungry people see oceans of rice bags from the people in the United States of America.

"Democracy, whisky, sexy!!" goes a long, long way in the direction of "peace, goodwill towards men." Feed 'em or fight 'em. Do the math!!
