Fraters Libertas has placed third-year scribbler Atomizer on the inactive injured reserve list retroactive to January 29th. Atomizer sustained a pinched nerve in his right arm after falling asleep at the keyboard late at night. This injury was not sustained while blogging, but rather while Atomizer was downloading music, no doubt illegally.
Atomizer had three posts in January 2006, slightly below his career average of 4.6 posts per month.
The organization hopes that Atomizer's condition will improve enough so that he can be reactivated and rejoin the team within fourteen days. If the injury limits Atomizer's ability to effectively perform his blogging duties, he may be reassigned to the Fraters minor league affiliate, Spitbull, for a rehabilitation stint.
Further information will be made available as events dictate. The organization has placed a gag order prohibiting any interaction with the media on Atomizer, so he will not be available for interviews.
