Let Us Die To Make Men Free
The closing hymn at mass today was the stirring Battle Hymn of the Republic. After another tough day of news from Iraq, it was a welcome reminder of the why we fight. And based on my impressions of the beliefs of the parish priest, it was chosen for that very reason. Thanks padre. We needed that.
